It was 5-19-2014

I thought to make a record of events 2 years ago before I forget:
It was 5-19-14. I remember that morning in May. I has just got up it was about 7 or 8 am. I had just bought some rosemary herb plants (3 of them I think) the day before from the Amish place off of locust point road where you turn at Bakers Restaurant to get there. I thought to plant them in the front yard near the street. So I got up wearing my sleeping cloths which was 2 items, a shirt and sweat pants with no pockets. I put on a pair of plastic slippers. I grabbed the plants off of the lawn table where I had put them the night before. I also grabbed a small hand shovel that I kept in a bucket with some gardening tools. Then I started to walk across the lawn along the street starting from the south side going north as I planned to find a place to plant them in the north west corner of the yard. I stopped to smell the roses, as I had a row of various roses growing along the way. And I stopped to look at my cactus patch. It was then from the corner of my eye I saw police cars zooming down the street at the edge of my yard. There were 5 cars which stopped abruptly in front of my house, and I heard the slamming of doors as officers came out and yelled at my to stop. One of them had a gun pointed at my head and he told me to drop what I had in my hands. I asked them what this was about, and the one next to him explained that they were arresting me because of having a goat on my property in violation of county zoning regulations. He explained that their original plan was to raid the house at 5 in the morning while everyone was still asleep, kick down the door and drag everyone out of bed. But their plan failed because some of them where late for work, although he did not say the details of why they were running late. He also explained that they were going evict me out of my house that same morning while I was in jail. He confessed that they orchestrated this event. This was part of their strategy. Craig and Lisa Balunsat look at signs made by their grandchildren about keeping their goat, Snowbird, at their home in Chesapeake City, Maryland, on February 14, 2012. The Balunsats are battline the county which says a zoning rule means she can't have the goat as a pet. Craig and Lisa Balunsat look at signs made by their grandchildren about keeping their goat, Snowbird, at their home in Chesapeake City, Maryland, on February 14, 2012. As I sat in the cold cement cell I counted the personal item I had, and they where 4. one shirt, one sweat pants and a left and right slipper. I got out a few hours later. I remember talking to the clerk lady, and she said they don't arrest for zoning code violations so she went to check on this on this and when she pulled the files and looked at them, she told me they had manipulated the system to arrest me by use of some type of body attachment which I did not understand.

So while I was being carted off to jail, they grabbed Lisa, my wife, and pulled her off the front porch. Lisa says that they held her hands behind her back. She was then frisked by a male officer and padded between her legs and that they were not supposed to touch her there nor on her breasts. They were rude to her and insulted her. She said she didn't understand why they were doing this, she thought everything was taken care off as we had been involved with legal filings regarding fraudulent activities of the lenders.. They said it was our fault that we were being lazy and not paying our mortgage. Then Skip Dewitt, the sheriff, told her, “I give you 5 minutes to find some where to put the goat or we're going to have to shoot it. So then Lisa asked some one she knew named Kelly who found someone to take the goat. She and Kelly were trying to get the goat in the blazer, but she didn't want to go. And Skip Dewitt leaned up against his car and was laughing because they were having a hard time getting the goat up in the blazer. And her wouldn't even help.

After I got out of jail a started to walk home, as I remember I had no money or phone or anything on me except my shirt and pants and slippers. I got home late that afternoon. All our things where pilled up in a heap in the front yard. And we had 48 hours to do something with our stuff. I just took what I could fit in the back of the blazer, and Lisa and I left. We went to the town of Elkton. The blazer broke down at the city pharmacy when we went to get Lisa's medication. We found some one to help move the car to the grocery store parking lot. With no place to go, we just sat in the car. After a few days, Lisa's legs and feet got swollen and puffed up from sitting in the car too long. We took her to the hospital but they sent here away with some pills. The next day she had severe pain in her chest. The ambulance had to come and get her. She almost died because of a blood clot in her lungs. I read on line that 1 out of every 3 people died from this. So I discovered that this is a dangerous condition. So that sitting in a car is dangerous to Lisa's health. So we met some homeless people who invited us to live in the woods next to them. With no place to go and with Lisa's health problems we decided to go live in the woods. We lived in the woods in a tent until December when Lisa got an apartment with the help of some lady advocates.

An ending thought:
